Sony this week has postponed a planned PlayStation 5 Information program against the backdrop of the ongoing protests affecting the United States. The company planned to launch the event to highlight Sony’s Next Generation Console, along with the new PS5 Games exhibition on June 4.
The incident has now been postponed indefinitely.
Although it did not blame the demonstrations and political turmoil, especially the cause of the delay in the event, Sony said it was no longer the right time to celebrate and “now we want to stand behind and allow more important voices to be heard.”
The news came after Sony tweeted on May 31, engaging in keeping the silence of violence and racism against black Americans.
The tweet continued, “We stand in solidarity with the black community every day and every day.
Along with her position, Sony is one of the other gaming companies talking about recent events around Minnesota’s George Fleid’s death. Former Manipolis police officer, Derek Chawen, has been accused of killing a third degree when a video with his knee holding down the neck of the flid came down.
EA Sports, Xbox, Star Wars and Miracle are among the companies that have made similar statements. The EA was officially announcing Maden NFL on June 21, but then changed its plans.
Sony keeps PS plans near the chest

The company, which has kept details about a new product near its chest, is still planning to release PS5 in 2020.
Although the form of a new console is not known, Sony has revealed a PS5 controller, a dual feeling.
Dual senses are shaped like a previous repetition of dual shock with such traditional thumb stick layouts.
